List of car types

Choose between five of our car types listed down below:

• Sedan
• Hatchback
• Estate Wagon
• SUV
• PickUp Truck

To simplify things we decided on using only 5 main car body styles. This way of car type categorization seems the most logical and understandable for the global English-speaking audience. Here is an example of why we did not use any official standards (hard to understand for the average user, and impossible to combine into one global standard):

• UNECE categories: L1, L2, L3, M1, M2, M3, O1…
• EU classification: L1e, L2e, L3e, L4e, L5e-A…
• US NHTSA classification: PC/Mi, PC/L, PC/C, PC/Me…
• Austroads classification: C, Bu, A, RT, A3, 2b2…
• Etc.
